Week 7 · Giving & Receiving

Love Languages & Styles

Discover how you give and receive love

💕

Understanding your love language and love style transforms how you connect with God, yourself, and others.

Two Lenses on Love

The 5 Love Languages, developed by Dr. Gary Chapman, describe the primary ways we express and prefer to receive love. When we speak someone's love language, they feel truly seen and cherished.

The 7 Love Styles describe different dimensions of how we connect in relationships—from intellectual and emotional to physical and practical. Understanding your style helps you recognize what you naturally give and what you deeply need.

Together, these frameworks reveal the how of your heart—how you naturally give love, how you long to receive it, and the dimensions that matter most to you.

"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God." — 1 John 4:7
